Robberg Trail
Location: Plettenberg Bay off the N2
Overview: As easy trail with spectacular views (including many seals) and varied geology and vegetation. A plus is the trail passes cave sites of archeological and anthropological interest.
Note: Permits obtainable from Cape Nature or at the office entrance to the Reserve.
Route Description:
The trail is well signposted and on a clear path with sections of boardwalk and protection railings or chains where needed.
The hiking is moderate with only a few steep sections and a short section of beach walking. If the full circuit is done it takes at least 4 hours and is advisable to allow for Morning Tea and Lunch stops along the way.
