This is a very elegant dance, done with four couples (hence the reference to One, Two, Three, and Four in the song). It's also very stately (i.e., slow), so there's a great tendency for the dancers to rush it. I've tried to incorporate reminders of the tempo into the lyrics. Note that the song begins with the chorus.
Chorus One and Three double to meet each other. Then take a slow double to go back to place. Two and Four double to meet each other. Then take a slow double to go back to place.
