About the SCA
The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) is an odd entity that is difficult to describe. At one end of the spectrum, it consists of people (like me) who are interested in the nuts and bolts of premodern life: how did they do what they did? There are a fair number of amateur experimental archaeologists in the Society, and some of them have done some exceptional work. At the other end of the spectrum, the SCA consists of people (like me) who are interested in socializing. In my unbiased and totally objective opinion, this song is the best possible way to express that dichotomy.
This is my main SCA page. Right now my main project is running a serise of commedia workshops, period music and contrafacts, and fighting.
