Here's another classic English Country dance.
A double quick up to the top of the hall, A double quick back down to place. The same thing again and then when you are back, Your partner you should turn and face. The first couple join hands and slip to the top The second the same when the first couple stops The last skip to join them and when they all stop Then everyone turn all around. The third couple skip to the back of the hall, The second the same and then after them fall, The first couple joins them and then one and all, Turn around in a circle in place. Siding is next, three steps to meet right And three steps back into place. Siding again, three steps, you've got time And three steps back into place. First man, third lady cross to switch place, Second of each do the same in some haste, Third lady, first man cross then all face, Turn around in a circle in place. Repeat previous verse Arming is next, eight steps all around Go slowly, it's not a great race. Arming on left, eight steps again. And everyone's back in their place. Men do a hay as they march all around The ladies in place
