One thing I'm really excited about is learning how to use photoshop. I've always wanted to try to make some kind of digital art. there are so many cool things you can achieve with digital programs and I'm excited to learn the basics and to start designing and creating.
Final Reflection
I think I absolutely achieved my goal for the semester. I not only learned a lot about how to use photoshop but I was also able to try new things with photoshop. An example is the animal mash-ups we did. In that assignment, we didn't draw as much but we used a lot of different tools and tricks in photoshop that helped us mix two animals into one. we also learned how to import new fonts and brushes. the brushes were used in the landscape project and. the fonts we used in both a fonts assignment and the logo design.
My favorite assignment was definitely the digital painting. I definitely could have spent more time making small changes to make things perfect but I'm very happy with how it turned out. I learned a lot of things from this digital painting. I learned how to use different brushes to create cool textures that make the picture more detailed and I also got to mess around with the style of my painting which was really fun. The most important thing I learned was perspective, during this I struggled a lot with getting the right perspective to make things look good. It took some time but I think I did a good job of handling the perspective. looking ahead the one thing I need to do is just to draw more and step outside my comfort zone more. once I do that I think my understanding of art will evolve and enable me to create lots of cool pieces of art.
