Different hockey-related items like lace, puck, center circle, tape, stick, and a goal sit on top of a hockey rink. My process was thinking of hockey-related things and morphing them into letters. The message is you should do the things you love because it makes you happier. 

One thing I learned was how I can morph different shapes into other shapes. No hockey-related item really looks like a specific letter. So I have to take an item and change its position or its composition to resemble a letter.

Another thing I learned was how to combine different mediums. It's important to learn how to combine mediums because it can open up a whole new way of making art. For example, I used watercolor for the background because I thought it looked more like the texture of ice than a colored pencil would.
