Reflection:
When it comes to working with clay the most important things I learned were to work with efficiency, make sure there are no air pockets, and make sure everything is nice and even. When you don't work efficiently your clay can dry out and be hard to work with, if there is an air pocket it will explode in the kiln and if all the walls of your clay are uneven it could crack. I learned how the glaze interacts with each other on a real piece. One thing that surprised me was how the underglaze and overglaze interact with each other. I thought that the overglaze would completely cover the underglaze but that's not true. One thing I would like to learn is how to do more advanced patterns and techniques with the glazes.
