Essential Question: How do artists learn from trial and error?
Reflection:
One thing I learned was that it's important to create something you like because it makes the process so much easier and more enjoyable. Some errors I made were I think I left a pool of glaze at the bottom of two of my pinch pots which could have caused air pockets to form in the bottom of them. One thing I would tell someone is to pick colors they like and think would go well with each other and plan ahead of time to make things move smoother. It's important to have contrast because it makes your pieces look more interesting and eye-catching. I did this by using either a darker color from the outside or using a completely different color. I think I would do another pot like the multi-hole one because I think that one turned out the best and it's my overall favorite. I like the form and the glaze combo is my favorite I've done so far. It was really fun because you could be a bit more creative with how you formed this one because of the multi-hole criteria.
Large and bowl-shaped, very wavy edges with two handles on the ends, solid blue-ish gray.
I chose this one because I liked how the wavy edges went with the shape of the bowl
Multiple small bowls together, long and short, edges are white and the middle of the bowls are light blue to a darker blue at the bottem
I chose this one because i really like how the colors complemented eachother and I really liked the shape and thought it was interesting
Pot shaped medium sized, edges are slightly wavy, brown on the inside, on the outside blue to brown gradient.
I chose this one because the over all shape and size is really nice and I though the glaze was really interesting
