Narrative Mug

Purpose: Make a slab mug that demonstrates connecting slabs securely, creating and attaching a handle, and illustrates a personal narrative. This should be done through the

Reflection: 

For my personal narrative I chose the time I went surfing with my friends and we befriended a seagull. For my mug I chose to use a slab to portray the waves because I really wanted them to be a big focal point.I chose to carve the surfboards and sun to make sure they would textualy stand out without catching your eye to much because I didnt want them to be the focal point. With the glazing I chose to go with a mix of some warm and some cool colors because I really wanted a fun mix of all different colors to help everything stand out from each other

I dont think I would change anything with the form of the mug. I would want to maybe think about glazing more cleanly next time because some of the lines aren't the cleanest. I would also think about changing the color of the seagulls and the boards because they are both the same color as the sky which makes it a bit hard to differentiate the sky, boards, and bird.
