What is Muscular Endurance?

It refers to the number of repetitions of a single exercise you can do without stopping or resting.

Example: NAPFA test is a muscular endurance exercise as it requires you to do a single exercise repeatedly for a period of time.

Why is Muscular Endurance important?

  • prevent injuries

  • speed up recovery from injury

  • improve sports performance

  • improve the ability to perform daily activities

How to train for Muscular Endurance?

Step 1: LOWER BODY or UPPER BODY

Step 2: Decide on a BODY PART

Step 3: Check your 1RM

Step 4: Use the TABLE given for when deciding the resistance, repetitions, sets and rest duration
