This Project consists of my thoughts on American Identity and is divided into the following sections, which you can access through either the submenu under American Identity or by clicking the links below:
- The Overview: consists of my journey through American Identity and my Vision Statement
- Events: consist of experimental events focused around a convergent theme that exists in different forms across multiple cultures. In these events, people first share how their culture approach the given theme (eg The Festival of the Lights) and then we use elements from each culture to experimentally create a new expression of the theme that is uniquely American. In this way we can sustain our root cultures but also assimilate into the larger flow of the American Identity.
- Gatherings: consist of chillaxed gatherings sometimes around a common theme. An effort is placed to form an eclectic group, bringing together people from different ages, genders, racial backgrounds, etc.
