Teoría
Utilizamos be going to para describir intenciones y planes de futuro, a menudo decididos de antemano.
Construimos la afirmativa con el auxiliar be + going to + el infinitivo sin to.
We’re going to buy a guide book.
En la negativa, utilizamos la forma negativa del auxiliar be + going to + el infinitivo sin to.
They aren’t going to use a phrase book.
En la lengua oral y el registro informal de la lengua escrita, se suelen utilizar las formas contractas.
He’s going to take a rucksack.
Construimos la forma interrogativa con be + sujeto + going to + el infinitivo sin to. Las partículas interrogativas (what, where, when) encabezan la frase.
Is your brother going to travel to South America?
Are we going to visit some museums on our trip?
What are you going to do in Berlin?
Where is your friend going to go on holiday?
En las respuestas breves solo se incluye el auxiliar be, sin going to.
Are you going to walk in the mountains?
Yes, I am.
