iNDEFINITE PRONOUNS

This is the interesting story of four people, Somebody, Anybody, Everybody, and Nobody.  As you can see, they are very strange names for people.  Let me tell you a little about them.

Somebody is a very positive person and she is always around to help.  She always has a smile on her face and sees everything in a very positive way. She always has something to do and somewhere to go.  She is never bored. Everybody likes Somebody.

On the other hand, Anybody is very negative and never has a smile on his face.  He never has anything to do or anywhere to go.  What’s more, he always asks questions, such as “I’m tired.  Is anybody going to help me?”  “I’m hungry.  Is there anything to eat?”  “I’m bored here.  Is there anywhere to go?”  He isn’t anybody’s friend.

Everybody is a wonderful person and is a very hard worker.  In fact, he helps all of his friends.  He likes doing everything and loves going everywhere.  Everybody loves him and he is everybody’s friend.

Nobody is a bit like Anybody.  She is very, very negative.  She is never around to help.  She likes doing nothing and going nowhere.   In fact, when Somebody asks, “Is Anybody here to help me?”  Everybody always answers, “Yes, I am here, but nobody else is.”
