Be Allowed to

"To be allowed to" se utiliza como "can" para referirnos a permisos o reglas.

Se utiliza siguiendo el modelo de conjugación del verbo "to be":

• I am allowed to + verb:

  • • I am allowed to go to the party (=tengo permitido ir a la fiesta)

    • I'm not allowed to go to the party (=no tengo permitido ir a la fiesta)

• You/We/They are allowed to + verb

• He/She/It is allowed to + verb:

  • • She is allowed to stay at home (=tiene permitido quedarse en casa)

    • She isn't allowed to stay at home (=no tiene permitido quedarse en casa)

Se puede conjugar en otros tiempos:

• She wasn´t allowed to come with us

• She will be allowed to come with us...
