Why has to be from Israel / Jewish people?
- Abraham (ancestor of the Jewish people) believed in One True God, the creator of Heaven and Earth.
Genesis 26:5
// Because Abraham hearkened to My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My instructions." //
- Jewish nation is the Light of the World:
Isaiah 49:6
// And He said, "It is too light for you to be My servant, to establish the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the besieged of Israel, but I will make you a light of nations, so that My salvation shall be until the end of the earth." //
- Jewish nation is a Priestly Nation:
Exodus 19:6
// And you shall be to Me a kingdom of princes and a holy nation.' These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel." //
- God is with Jewish people:
Zachariah 8:23
// So said the Lord of Hosts: In those days, when ten men of all the languages of the nations shall take hold of the skirt of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." //
God reveal Himself to the whole Jewish Nation, not to a single individual.
- Deuteronomy 4:10
// the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me, "Assemble the people for Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children. //
God is Righteous and Just, non-monopolized access to Himself. He is open to everyone:
Ezekiel 18:32
// For I do not desire the death of him who dies, says the Lord God: so turn away and live!" //
Psalms 6:6
// For there is no memory of You in death; in the grave, who will thank You? //
115:17 - // Neither will the dead praise God, nor all those who descend to the grave. //
- Gentiles (non-Jewish) that is recorded as righteous
Genesis 5:23
// And Enoch walked with God, and he was no longer, for God had taken him. //
Genesis 6:9
// These are the generations of Noah, Noah was a righteous man he was perfect in his generations; Noah walked with God. //
Job 1:8
// Now the Lord said to the Adversary, "Have you paid attention to My servant Job? For there is none like him on earth, a sincere and upright man, God-fearing and shunning evil." //
- Gentile Priesthood to God that is recorded as servant of God
Genesis 14:18
// And Malchizedek the king of Salem brought out bread and wine, and he was a priest to the Most High God. //
- Gentile nation (before Hebrew Nation is established) that is recorded as a Righteous Nation
Genesis 20:4
// And Abimelech had not come near to her, and he said, "O Lord, will You kill even a righteous nation? //
The above is examples recorded from the Jewish Holy Scripture before Jewish Nation is chosen and established.
The Jewish Holy Scripture, Tanakh - contains information for people outside Jewish people to seek God.
- God created everything:
Genesis 1:1
// In the beginning of God's creation of the heavens and the earth. //
2:1 - // Now the heavens and the earth were completed and all their host. //
- Relationship with Human Beings
Genesis 9:16
// And the rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will see it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and between every living creature among all flesh, which is on the earth." //
Why going to Heaven is NOT the ultimate reward? It is because God wish to live among his creation:
Psalms 115:16
// The heavens are heavens of the Lord, but the earth He gave to the children of men. //
78:69 // And He built His Sanctuary like the high heavens, like the earth He established it forever. //
104:5 // He founded the earth on its foundations that it not falter to eternity. //
Ecclesiastes 1:4
// A generation goes and a generation comes, but the earth endures forever. //
Isaiah 45:18
// For so said the Lord, the Creator of heaven, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, He established it; He did not create it for a waste, He formed it to be inhabited, "I am the Lord and there is no other. //
