Students study Relationships, Commitment and Moral Responsibility and will identify ways in which individuals develop personal responsibility and moral maturity. Students will analyse situations that require moral decision making, and use Catholic moral teaching to respond to issues of injustice. Students will also apply the message of Living Justice Living Peace into the work they do.
Students investigate a Social Justice theme in line with our Kildare and Brigidine heritage. They will identify local or national Social Justice issues and reflect on the Declaration of Human Rights and Catholic Social Teaching. Students will then write a Letter of Proposal to a Minister in Government in order to action a change for a better Society.

Through this course, students will be able to apply the skills and an understanding of other religions and cultures as well as the values embedded in the scriptures to any work setting. Some specific examples are police officers, teachers, forward focused staff roles, tourism, public relations, theology, lecturer, missionary, non-profit administrator, political Consultant, religious rights advocate, social worker and employment at a religious- based organisation.
