Adventure Sports
Unit Description
Adventure Sport introduces students to aspects of water safety, examining the risks and dangers of water and learning ways to minimize such harms to everyone around them.
Adventure Sports provides students with the opportunity to examine theoretical components of numerous adventure sports, such as rock - climbing, swimming, surfing and kayaking. Whilst examining these adventure sports, students will understand rules and regulations, codes of conduct, safety and comprehensive skill development. This has been a highly adjusted program and many adventure sport and practical elements have altered to suit the current learning environment.
