By the end of the semester students will have engaged in multiple discussions and investigations assessing logic, epistemology, and metaphysics. You will explore a range of questions such as:
- Are you ‘Your name”?
- Who are you without your relationships?
- Are ‘white lies’ justified in all circumstances?
- Is Democracy a fair form of government?
- Do all our experiences exist vividly somewhere in our physical bodies?
This course will provide a distinct step towards revealing the content of your own identity. To develop arguments for the purpose of finding just conclusions to ethical dilemmas. Acknowledging the multiple channels towards a sensible answer that exists outside the magnetism of political discussion. Students are provided an arena to debate their ideas on an equal playing field.
This subject is recommended to minds curious to see the power of their awareness focused towards their most fundamental beliefs. All students have their own logic and ethical perspectives built along frameworks of belief. These metacognitive structures are guarded in the realm of the subconscious mind. Philosophy Now is offering you the key!
