Can you get your food product on the supermarket shelves? Students use both hands-on and digital methods to solve design problems, through the creation of sketches, electronic labels, photography, and food prototypes. Students will be challenged to produce consistent food products, functional packaging and effective labelling. This unit explores the fields of Food Studies, Marketing and Visual Communication. Students will focus on creating an effective point of difference, separating their product from a competitive marketplace.
