Drama & Theatre Studies
This course focuses on producing live theatre through a range of production roles, including actor, director, costume designer, hair and makeup designer, set designer, puppeteer, or choreographer.
Students are exposed to contemporary theatre styles performing scripts and creating self-devised work. Students analyse theatre responding to a professional production.
The program develops skills in creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication as central to the creation of engaging and meaningful theatre. This subject culminates in a public performance to an audience. Additional rehearsals may occur.
