I created a 12-day, 2nd grade cross-curricular unit plan entitled "Animal Habitats." The unit is focused on teaching students how different animals adapt and thrive in their unique environments. This process allowed me to create a hypothetical learning trajectory aligned with the ICC and NGSS. Guiding questions are identified for each day of learning, in addition to activities, and an assessment. At the end of the unit, students get to showcase their learning by creating an animal diarama with a partner.
