Classmate Brittany Lingenfelter and I collaborated to create this paper over the during reading strategy, free read-write-pair-share. Included in this paper is a summary of the stategy presented, rationale for selecting read-write-pair-share, our research base, an analysis of the strategies strengths, appropriate applications of read-write-pair-share, and both Brittany and I's reflections of the strategy. Researching this during reading strategy allowed me to gain insights into the effectiveness of engaging students in read-write-pair-share while they are reading. I will definitely be using this strategy in my future classroom. Including this strategy in this folder will allow me to come back to this strategy and utilize it in my classroom.
