Lesson Plan

I wrote this fluency lesson plan following a structured literacy format on reading texts on appropriate rate. This lesson plan really helped me understand the importance of pacing in reading. Focusing on fluency in a lesson like the one I created will hopefully not only improve students' reading speed but also their comprehension. Structuring the lesson in a way that targeted rate accuracy and expression made me realize how fluency impacts overall reading proficiency. This experience highlighted the significance of incorporating structured literacy approaches to enhance students' reading skills effectively.
