Classmate Brittany Lingenfelter and I collaborated to create this science lesson plan in which we implemented the during reading strategy, read-write-pair-share. This collaboration enabled us to design a lesson that would promote peer interaction and accountable talk to facilitate learning. Read-write-pair-share has many benefits. This strategy allows students to hear their classmates thinking compared to their own. It also boosts students confidence in their answer once they have rehearsed it by sharing with a peer and may volunteer to share with the entire cl I include this artifact in this folder because it shows my ability to apply beneficial strategies to my teaching.
