In class we learned about the MASI-R Oral Reading Fluency Measures. Practicing this curriculum-based measure (CBM) multiple times was really beneficial in understanding how to assess students' oral reading fluency (ORF) and accuracy effectively. The MASI-R is a valuable tool for educators to gauge students' reading fluency and identify areas for improvement which is why I included this artifact in my portfolio. I am so glad I got the chance to practice administering this test in class to become more skilled in using it to support students' reading development in the future.
