In Bremwood's Woodhaven Classroom, a classmate and I led students in hands-on learning about what the scientific method is, and how we can apply it to making slime. Students had the opportunity to choose from two different slime recipies that had a different indepentent variable in each. Whichever recipe they picked, they helped to create. Throughout the process of making the slime the students used the scientific method. They made a hypothesis, wrote down observations, tested their hypothesis, drew conclusions, and reported their findings. At the end of the experiment, students debated which slime was best based on their observations they wrote down while making slime.
