Guest Speaker: Danielle Hakeman

It was amazing to have Danielle Hakeman, a CRAEA Literacy Consultant and Dyslexia Specialist, as a guest speaker in our Diagnostic & Remedial Reading class. I am choosing to include the presentation Danielle used in this folder because her expertise was incredibly valuable in shedding light on structured literacy, MTSS, and what literacy instruction and assessment look like in schools. Having  a professional like Danielle share their knowledge and experiences truly enhanced my understanding and I learned a lot from her. I will use the information she taught me during her presentation in my future classroom when identifying appropriate assessements and when I use effective Structured Literacy Instruction in my classroom.
