Award Winning Books Project

In my children's literature class, I conducted an in-depth study of award winning books. This study included six Newbery Award winners as well as Caldecott Award winners. For each book, I gave a brief description of the book, how I might use the book in the classroom, as well as my review of the book. With a reading endorsement, it is essential for me to be aware of the best current books, as well as integrate diverse literature into my classroom.
