Kilpatrick PLC Book Study

Throughout this semester, my PLC group and I completed a book study over the book "Equipped for Reading Success" by David A. Kilpatrick, Ph.D. Exploring the book together allowed us to deepen our understanding of the science behind reading success. We delved into topics like phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, gaining valuable insights into how to effectively support our students' reading development. The discussions we had were enlightening, and the strategies we learned have already started to positively impact our teaching practices. This book study was a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and collaboration within our group.
