Orchard Farm

Orchard Farm is a district organised camp to a place called Orchard Farm in October half term. This trip normally allows one day for you to visit Alton Towers which is nearby.

2009

The Scouts have just enjoyed a trip organized by Elstree District with the Borehamwood and the Elstree groups. Some of the activities they did were cycling 8 miles, climbing up a rock, going to Alton Towers, walking and going in a cave.They all had a wonderful time. In the evenings they had a camp fire indoors as it was raining and had a party which ended up with a flour fight due to the Explorers thinking that it would be fun to do apple bobbing and also had getting sweets out of the flour. Other activities they had at the party were an obstacle course with a blindfold on and wrapping up people in toilet roll. By the way the Explorers had to clear up the mess afterwards as there was toilet roll on the lights and flour everywhere. It was not funny then!!!
