St George's Day Parade

Well Done if you did come to St George's but unfortunately the Beavers and the Cubs were low in numbers but the scouts were not much better. 

One of the Beaver leaders said on an email "I was very upset and disappointed that only 2 Beavers attended the parade /service today and I only had 2 apologies for non-attendance. I just wanted to remind you all that all Leaders and helpers in Scouting give their time voluntarily every single week and extra time for preparation / training. I feel extremely let down by the lack of support and commitment shown today."

Please can you tell us if you can not make it to St George's Day Parade or Remembrance Parade because it counts towards your Chief Scout Award in all sections so everyone needs to come to a variety of events. Also, please remember that the leaders give up their time to do Beavers/Cubs/Scouts and they have to give up extra time, just like you, if their is an event on so next year and on Remembrance Day/ Sunday we hope to see as many of you as we can unless you tell your leader a good reason why you can not be their.
