Thank you to everyone who attended our Celebration Evening, which included Robin, Paul and Sue all receiving long service awards for 5 years service to Scouting, well done to them. The evening was a success with the Scouts leading activities for the Beavers and Cubs and many parents joining us.

At the event we reiterated the need for help and support from parents. We did not hold any fundraising events last year and need some parents to join our committee to help run some events for us in the coming year. We have already arranged to run the refreshment tent at the Radlett Festival with the Guides on Sunday 26 June. You should have received a separate letter about this, but we need as many parents as possible to help during the day and donations of cakes etc, also any offers of match funding would be welcome.

We also are seeking new leaders as the current Scout and Cub leaders have expressed that they wish to step down within the next year. We are planning a recruitment campaign to enable the sections to remain open. Please consider if you are able to help, the more volunteers we have means the jobs can be divided up and therefore not everything falls to one person.
