This year Scouting and Girlguiding are once again joining forces to run the main refreshment tent for the Radlett Festival.
This requires help from parents, scouts and guides on the day to run the stalls, and in particular, many donations of large and small cakes, scones and jam, and biscuits – homemade if possible! These should be delivered directly to the Philimore Recreation Ground on the Sunday morning, but please call Nic Day if you need to make other arrangements.
The Radlett Festival 2013 is a community event. We are hoping to show Scouting and Girlguiding working together, and it would be fantastic to see lots of you there. We use the occasion to promote our organisations, to recruit more adult leaders, and to ensure the continuation of our units.
Stall help rotas will be posted at your meeting place. Please support us.
We also will be running trampolines with 4th Radlett Scouts and having our own tombola stall, so donations and young people to help will be needed.

Please sign up on the stall help rotas, posted in the headquarters or let Jackie Glover or Nic Day know.
Trampolines & Tombola
We are jointly with 4th Radlett Scouts running a six bed trampoline, instead of the Climbing wall. We need a couple of adults to staff this, ensuring children can bounce for 2 minute periods and looking after those waiting.
We are also running a tombola which the young people can man. So we need volunteers for this, sign up sheets are again in the headquarters, or tell your Leader or Jackie Glover.
We also need lots of tombola prizes, please can you bring these to your meetings this week. As a number of sections are not meeting at the headquarters this week, they can deliver items to Jackie Glover preferably before Saturday so we can label the items up before the day.
