As you will be aware in the coming weeks we will be celebrating HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. As she reaches this historic milestone, HM The Queen will have served the nation for 70 years as monarch. As HM The Queen is also our Patron, this makes it an extra special occasion for us as Scouts. In Radlett several events will be taking place which we will be supporting which also form part of the Scout's Platinum Challenge, including the Beacon Lighting, Funfair and Food and the Big Jubilee Lunch Street Party. Our Beavers are also doing activities related, and we will do some activities related at our Group Celebration.
Dates for the Diary
Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend
The Beacon Lighting, Funfair and Food - Thursday 2nd June, Tabard Rugby Club 5pm-10pm.
Do join this community event with food and funfair, free entry, with £10 pre purchase of unlimited fairground ride pass through Aldenham Parish Council website with Beacon lighting a 9:45pm along with rest of country.
The Radlett Village Big Jubilee Lunch - Sunday 5th June, Watling Street 12.00pm-5pm. Street Party in Watling Street, like in 2012, with other activities open for all, even if you don't have a table. Tables can be booked through Aldenham Parish Council
