Professor A Parsuramen, GOSK, Chairperson of the University of Mauritius Convocation paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor. The latter welcomed the significant initiatives took by the Convocation towards the advancement of the University mainly in terms of Fund Raising Activities.
The Vice-Chancellor further discussed projects like the setting up of incubators and the transformation of the UoM to an eco-friendly campus where collaboration with the Convocation would be much appreciated. The Vice-Chancellor assured Professor Parsuramen of all the support of the University to the UoM Convocation.
He also took note of other proposals of the Chairperson to cater for specific needs of students with a disability on campus as having a dedicated room for them.
The meeting ended on the willingness to collaborate at both levels for the advancement of the University.
