Dear Colleagues

I am pleased to inform you that, as your newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, I have assumed duty as of 19 September 2022 and I keenly look forward to your continuous support in achieving academic excellence and taking our University to even greater heights.

Altogether, we shall pool and strengthen our efforts to make the UoM a wonderful place to work and share happiness and to care for our staff and the students' community.

Until a new incumbent is appointed, I have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academia).

At this juncture, I seize the opportunity to thank you all for your support during my term of office as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academia) in a substantive capacity for more than 5 years.

Am sure that I can continue to count on your co-operation and wisdom in our future endeavours and in overcoming any challenges ahead.
