Dr Louis Jean Claude AUTREY, UoM Chancellor, has been conferred the highest national distinction by the President of the Republic of Mauritius on the advice of the Hon Prime Minister on the National Day 2024.

Congratulations to Dr Autrey on being conferred the distinguished award of Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (GCSK) in recognition of his lifelong and outstanding contribution in the fields of education and science.

This prestigious award pays a fitting tribute to Dr Autrey’s longstanding dedication and immense contribution to tertiary education and research and especially to the development and progress of the University of Mauritius.
