TED ROGERS FACULTY COUNCIL

At Toronto Metropolitan University, Faculty Councils are central to academic governance under TMU Senate Policy 45, ensuring faculty, staff, and students participate in shaping academic policies and programs. Established in 2014 as the university’s first Faculty Council, the TRSM Faculty Council oversees curriculum and academic planning within the Ted Rogers School of Management, reviews proposals from program councils, and advises the Dean and Senate. With broad representation across faculty, contract lecturers, students, and staff, the Council operates under bylaws that guide its structure, decision-making, and committees.
