Zoomed Shoe

The subject of this project was we had to zoom in on our pure contour drawing of our shoe and do an abstract drawing on that piece of work. I made this artwork with my shoe and with pencil, sharpie pen, and colored pencil. I chose to create this specific artwork because it was the subject of our project.

I used some shading technique in my artwork, my project didn't really evolve the only different thing was I was gonna do the second zoomed in shoe but I decided to go with the last zoom in shoe since I could add more to that one.

There really is no meaning behind my artwork other then the fact the scale parts reminded me of scales from a lizard or mermaid tail. It doesn't really relate to my life besides the fact the zoomed in shoe is my idea of my own shoe or is a drawing of my shoe. I think it could be stronger with the colored pencil I could have burnished it better if I had more colored pencils of the same color.
