Ideas that are visually evident in this project is that the circles are different types of animal eyes. This project can relate to my life because I really enjoy drawing animals especially sea animals.
I used watercolor for the base colors of the eyeballs and then used watercolor for the background. I then went over the eyeballs with colored pencils to fix any mistakes I did with the watercolor, and to make them pop out more and look more realistic.
I first used a circle utensil to make sure the circles came out looking like a circle not an oval. I then lightly erased the pencil marks and started to fill in the eyeballs with the base colors using watercolor, and finally went over everything with colored pencil. At first I saw many people doing eyeballs and decided against the idea so I thought about doing planets, but then realized I could do animal eyeballs since it looked like nobody had that idea so far. I think I could've done a better job with the background and made the black more saturated and not so blotchy, but i'm really proud of how each animal eye came out.
