Sustained Investigation #9

For this project, I wanted to capture some of why the African Wild Dogs has been considered endangered. The struggles they face daily with their habitat are the biggest issues. Human presence is the number one issue endangering them. These issues include illegal trapping with snares, and habitat loss.

For this project, I used canvas paper, acrylic paint and posca pens.

I researched why the African Wild Dogs are considered endangered. I sketched out a couple of ideas with them and their habitat location scenery and different items that were possibly causing them harm. The land and mountains in Africa are their primary habitats so I knew I wanted to be able to capture both of those within my project. I added in the main reasons that affect their habits with using a snare that was caught on one of the african wild dogs.
