Time Capsules

In this assignment we had to do three drawings the first one a Self Portrait the second one a drawing of a certain area of the room and finally a drawing of an object in front of you.

Again I just used pencil for all my drawings because I was still getting use to the room and where to find everything and I just prefer using pencil because if you make a mistake you don't have to worry about trying to fix it or do everything over again. For the self portrait you had to put a mirror in front of you and analyze your features in your face and at least attempt to make it look like you, I wish I did a better job on the shape of my head but I think it still came out pretty good. For the area of the room you just had to choose a corner that was in your point of view and draw from your point of view of what the corner looks like, i'm not very proud of it but my goal is to practice backgrounds and work on the small details. And finally for the last one I decided to draw a pencil that was in front of me which was pretty easy and i'm proud on how it came out especially with the shading.

We didn't really have a choice for the self portrait but for the corner of the room the reason why I chose that corner is because it had a lot of interesting posters and artwork on the walls even though you can't really tell but that is one of my goals is to get better at backgrounds. And for the last drawing I just chose an object in front of me that happened to be a pencil which made it very easy for me to do which I was kinda hap
