Wire Sculpture

The subject of my creation is an Orca Statue, I made this work with wire and I used my orca statue from Sea World as a visual example. I chose to do this specific artwork because like i've said before I want to base most of my projects about the sea if I am able to.

My project evolved from trying to do a wire sculpture of a crab because I realized doing the orca statue might be a little bit easier to do since it had less sharp angles and less limbs I would have to deal with and attach.

This project relates to my life because my project was based off of something that I own. I think my artwork could definitely be stronger especially with the shape of the Orca and I think I could've done a better job with the stand so my Orca would stay up easier. Though I am proud of this project because I do think I did a good job especially since I have never worked with wire before.
