Duck Stamp

My inspiration for this project was that I looked through pictures of ducks and not many stood out, although the ruddy duck was one of them that caught my eye. I like that its bill was the main focus of the animal and it looked like a great inspiration for my drawing.

This drawing was made with Watercolor and colored pencils on painting paper.

The process of making this was to first draw the duck, then make sure the background was done. And finally, I made sure that there were some minor details that made the duck look more realistic. Such as a reflection in the water, and shades from the sunlight.
