Zoomed shoe

Artist Statement

I was looking at my zoomed shoe for a while and couldn't find anything that fit what I wanted to draw, Although I only saw one thing. A door, I didn't want to draw a door so I thought that I could find something better. I couldn't, so I went with the door idea, though it was a door I made it abstract like the criteria asked for. This made the peice look way better than it did in my mind. There's a 3d, but 2d perspective to it that I think is interesting.

For the door part I made an outline of the door almost and did the pure contour of the door as well as some shading. But the rest was just abstract fill in work that brings the peice to life and gives it character. Overall I enjoy this peice of art.
