My inspiration was that I wanted to make this donate life with watercolor, as well as I wanted to involve a heart. So I thought  that I should add a heart, although I needed someting else into the peice. So therefore I added a rose and the thorns into it t ogive it another element. 

watercolor and pen in 9" x 12" watercolor paper.

My process was to first sketch out the heart and the rose, as well as the faces. I then added the first layer of watercolor, after that I added the second layer and added darker colors and shadows. I finally added some more shadows and details once that dried, and I finally went in with the pens to give it more detail and color.
