I chose to re-invision this project becasue I didn't like how the first one turned out, it was too flat and not detailed. As well as it didn't really reflect the feeling that I wanted, it just wasn't what I wanted it to be. So I wanted to try to add more details, and meaningfulness to the second version. I also wanted to create more contrast, with just using black and a dark blue.
Pen and marker on 6" x 9" watercolor paper.
I first started with the teeth in the center, using stippling as my shading technique. I then added the text around the center and below it, after that I added the designs and other things around it. After I was done with the black, I added the extra designs in blue.
