My inspiration for this project was that I wanted to do a duck that had a colorful part about them, therefore I chose the masked duck because of its bright blue beak. I also added a lake background to add some more to the piece.

Colored Pencil and Watercolor on 9" x 12" watercolor paper.

My process was to first sketch the duck after looking at a reference image, after that, I also sketched out the background after looking at an image. Finally, I went over the background with the first layer. Then I colored in the duck, and finally, I went in with a final layer
