My inspiration was to create a focal point on another facial feature, because my previous pieces have been focused on eyes. So I wanted to create something relating to the mouth, so I decided to go closer and zoom in on the mouth and teeth. I made the teeth look really dirty and gross, to portray and represent having a "dirty mouth".

I first started a light sketch with a lighter color, then went in and blocked in with lighter colors to get an idea of what I wanted the colors to look like. I then went in with darker and other colors and pressed down harder, I continued this until I had gotten the colors and look that I wanted. I finally did the same with the gums and rest of mouth.
