My inspiration for this was that we had to follow a Bob Ross painting video, I tried to follow it as closely as possible. I wanted to fill the canvas with many colors and objects to give me lots of space and ideas.
Paint on a 0" x 0" canvas
My process was to first get all of my colors on my paint palet, and then just follow along with the video and add my type of trees and mountains to make it different from everyone else.
My inspiration for this was that we had to take our Bob Ross paintings and make it completely different, so I wanted to add a pop of color, so I added these little monsters to the forest to make the painting stand out. After I made them, I added linework to the rest of the painting to make it all mesh together.
Paint pens on 0" x 0" canvas
My process was to first sketch the monsters where I wanted to put them, then I drew over that with paint markers with just the color. Once it dried I used a thin sharpie paint pen, I went over these blobs of color and added details to the monsters to make them feel more involved in the image. And finally I did the same to the trees and the mountains, so they blended togther well.
